I was on my way to a panel discussion when I spotted John McCutcheon and some others in the lobby of the Marriott. I stopped to take a photo or two when John insisted I come along on the trip to the National Civil Rights Museum. When I indicated that I had come to Memphis for the Folk Alliance, he said I could take in the Museum some other time, but still insisted I go along for the trolley ride since he wanted to remember it and knew I'd take pictures. I went for the trolley ride to the Museum and then rode the trolley back to the hotel. I arrived late at a panel discussion which included a representative of YouTube. Being late because I was shooting a YouTube video was a reasonable excuse for walking in late.
