Quintessentially Canadian As I was about to leave Guelph, I saw another GBS fan in the parking lot. Having enjoyed the Red Green Show, it struck me as a truly Canadian photo. Because of the warm weather, it was time for this man to change the duct tape that held on his bumper.

Great Bend #2 Between Binghamton, NY & Scranton, PA on I-81 is the town of Great Bend, Pennsylvania. I stop here everytime I drive by because, since 1977, I've lived in a bigger town named Great Bend — the one in Kansas. In July, 2007, Tom & I visited the 3rd Great Bend — in North Dakota.

Hainesville Cemetery Hainesville, New Jersey Both of my parents and both of my paternal grandparents are buried in this bucolic cemetery in far northwestern New Jersey. When my mother died in October, we needed a gravestone. I chose to use the services of my friend (and web client), Chet Cale, who lives in Great Bend, Kansas. I brought the stone on the back seat of my car and delivered it to the cemetery. Since the ground was still too cold to install the foundation, we left it in the shed to be installed when the weather warms. Then I visited the family graves followed by a stop at Yetter's Diner for a bowl of soup. Some previous visits April, 2007 November 2004
