Interested in a fun day while waiting for the festival to start? Join us Tuesday, September 7th for the first annual “Bluegrass in the Tallgrass” bus trip. The bus will pick you up from the fairgrounds at 11:30. You’ll enjoy laughter, entertainment and great food while exploring Eastern Cowley County. You’ll visit Flint Hills Aromatherapy, Iron Horse Antiques, Henry’s Candy Factory and more. You’ll see the beautiful tallgrass prairie of the Flint Hills and historic stone buildings and bridges.

Be sure to bring your singing voice and instrument for the new “Stage East” open mic session located in an outdoor venue in the Flint Hills.

You will return around 5:30 with a full belly, music in your ears and refreshed from the experience. All are welcome.
