Hunt Family Bluegrass is a hard driving bluegrass band from Orlando, Oklahoma.
They have performed at various venues over the last several years including many festivals, events, concerts and churches.
Hunt Family Bluegrass has been performing together since 2004. Terry grew up in the Ozarks of North Arkansas and learned to play the banjo and guitar at an early age. Leanne grew up in a very musical family on a dairy farm in Central Missouri. Andrew, 17, does a fine job playing the Mandolin and Fiddle and singing lead and harmony vocals. He began playing fiddle when he was 7 and picked up the mandolin shortly thereafter. Jonathan, 14, plays banjo and sings harmony vocals for HFB.
He also plays guitar on occasion and he also plays bass. He started playing banjo when he was 7.
In May of 2006 HFB won the KSMU Youth in Bluegrass Band Competition held each year at Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri. In 2008 HFB competed in the SPBGMA International Band competition and placed 10th out of 30 bands.
