The Navigators are Fred Jorgensen (bodhran, whistles, vocals), Arthur O’Brien (guitars, fiddle, vocals) Andrew Boulos (bass, harmony vocals) and Paul Murphy (drums and percussion). These Newfoundland musicians perform a wide variety of original songs, instrumental numbers, ballads and shanties with their own dynamic twists. Their high energy performances and solid connection with audiences have ensured that they have become a favourite at festivals and concert venues far and wide. November 2010 will mark the tenth anniversary of The Navigators. The band have released two albums, toured Canada, the US and Europe, and won a MUSICNL Award for Folk/Roots Group of the Year.
