Arriving at St. John's

Due to mechanical problems, we arrived twelve hours late meaning we arrived in daylight. The flight to St. John's usually goes over the French archipelago of St. Pierre et Miquelon. I had my GPS and camera and decided to show that we went right over St. Pierre. It was raining as we pulled up to the gate at YYT about half an hour later. |
Birthday Party at Newark Airport
| I grew up in Kearny, NJ - just 6 miles from Newark Airport. My brother, Eric, still lives in that house. We had a 4-hour layover at Newark and it was Eric's 54th birthday. I treated him to lunch at the Food Court in Terminal A. Meanwhile, he treated us a couple of bags of the best bread in the world, Pechter's. Their factory is midway between Kearny and the airport. |
