In May, our son (Tom) and his wife (Kelly) bought their first home in Lawrence, Kansas.
We had not visited the home yet but it was on the way to the Kansas City Airport.

The next morning, we waited for our plane at Kansas City Airport.

Our 4-hour layover in Newark Airport was enhanced with a visit by my brother, Eric.
He brought us several loaves of the delicious bread they make at Pechter's in Harrison.

On our return trip, the layover was too short for much of a visit with Eric,
but he did bring us another supply of Pechter's bread.
