This photo was taken by Don Shorock at 2:36 PM NDT on Sunday, the 6th of August, 2006
at the Main Stage at the Newfoundland & Labrador Folk Festival in Bannerman Park in St. John's, NL, Canada.

Fiddler, multi-instrumentalist, storyteller, music & cultural events producer, and veteran of pioneering bands FIGGY DUFF, WONDERFUL GRAND BAND, THE PLANKS and THE IRISH DESCENDANTS, Kelly performs authentic Newfoundland music of legendary fiddlers Rufus Guinchard & Emile Benoit plus the classic Tales of Pigeon Inlet by his Dad, Ted Russell. Recipient of the Newfoundland & Labrador Arts Council Award for Music, two NL Tourism Industry Awards, the prestigious Marius Barbeau Award for contribution to Canadian Folklore and the City of St. John's Legend Award, he played with FIGGY DUFF at the very first Folk Festival in Bannerman Park.
