If you are a smoker, your taxes have more than doubled in the past year. Some of that tax money is used to support events like this despite their blatant discrimination against you.

The sign thanks you for observing the policy. The alternative is to be threatened with arrest. There is a slight attempt to accommodate you:

If you choose the South Stage, the amplification can be painful, so you choose the East Stage where you can enjoy the music without risking hearing damage. Care for a smoke? You are now approximately ¼ mile from the nearest location where smoking is permitted. nearly 1/4 mile!

Now that you've found a location where you can smoke, you'll also find you are out in the direct sun. On Sunday afternoon, the temperature was 97°F. making this location less than desirable. So what? The freeloaders have your tax money and that's all that matters to them.
