Big Muddy Folk Festival in Boonville, Missouri

From Friday evening until Sunday afternoon, I attended the Big Muddy Folk Festival. This festival is an annual event for me and I've built a web site for the festival. I took a lot of photos at the festival and added them to festival web site.

Katy Trail

On Sunday, motel checkout time was 11 a.m. The final part of the Big Muddy Folk Festival started at 2 p.m. That gave me 3 hours to kill. It didn't take half an hour to drop $20 at the Isle of Capri casino and I had my foldable bicycle with me, so I spent the rest of the time exploring another portion of the Katy Trail. I went west from Boonville (very near the casino) to the bridge over I-70, about 4½ miles of some of the steepest grade on the whole trail. The return trip was much faster and easier than the trip out.

On Sunday afternoon, it was over to St. Louis and then south to Sikeston for the night.
In the morning, I had breakfast in the earthquake capital, New Madrid, and then on to Dorena, Missouri
