Lakeshore Bike Trail in Muskegon, Michigan

I left London early since I had pre-purchased some expensive ferry tickets and didn't want to miss the boat. After all, I'd be crossing the border into the US and it's hard to predict how long that would take. Everything went smoothly all day, so I got to Muskegon about two hours before the ferry departure. On the way into the ferry dock, I crossed a bike trail. I checked in the terminal to learn when I had to be where. Then I pulled the bicycle out of the trunk and went for a ride ... at least until the rain started. Meanwhile, I had a short but very varied 2-mile trip along the waterfront.
