Thelma Russi

Thelma Russi moved to Great Bend about ten years ago, after her husband died in Puerto Rico. She is now working as a volunteer at the Great Bend Public Library. She belongs to Foster Grandparents and works out of the Fort Hays State University. Elected NAACP President, secretary of the Democratic Party and is also secretary for the Black History Club. She is an oil painter, but rarely finds time to paint. She is foster mother to Antonio Brison, who is living with her now.
